Call for 2014 NGCOA Awards Applications and Nominations
Obtain recognition for your course's excellence and nominate deserving individuals for NGCOA honors!
Each year the National Golf Course Owners Association honors the most outstanding members of the past year. Is it your turn in 2014?
As a member of the NGCOA, you may apply for the National Course of the Year Award, Player Development Award, and/or submit a nomination for one of the individual honors listed below. Applications and nominations must be submitted electronically to aberrier@ngcoa.org by September 4.
National Course of the Year Award - Recognizes a golf facility that epitomizes exceptional course quality and managerial excellence, while making important contributions to their communities and the game.
(Note: Courses within states with chapters will be represented on the National Course of the Year ballot by their respective chapter's Course of the Year winner. Contact your chapter ED for more details.)

Player Development Award - Bestowed upon a golf facility which has implemented true and tested player development programs, providing effective return-on-investment and an overall welcoming atmosphere for new golfers of all ages.

Each year, the NGCOA recognizes the best of the best in the golf industry by presenting individuals and organizations with a coveted NGCOA Award. We ask for your opinion on recipients worthy of such recognition of the following honors:

Award of Merit - the NGCOA’s longest-running award and is designated for long-term and significant contributions to the game of golf

Don Rossi Award - given for significant and long-lasting contribution to the NGCOA and its members

Jemsek Award - honors the world’s top golf courses, which are widely known for superior quality, having hosted major amateur and professional tournaments and for being venues to which golfers travel from far and wide

Champion Award - bestowed upon individuals who or entities which have succeeded in working on behalf of a group of owners – locally, regionally, nationally or internationally – and have garnered through a significant victory for our members

Paul Porter Award - established to recognize an NGCOA member who left an enduring mark on a chapter or international affiliate through the highest level of commitment, service and leadership
