Muckley Joins WEG Water Resources Team

Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. welcomes the newest member of the Williamsburg office Water Resources Team.

WILLIAMSBURG, VA.; October 27, 2011

Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG), a local environmental consulting and engineering firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Glenn Muckley, P.E. to the Water Resources Team. As a Senior Engineer based in the Williamsburg office, Glenn will have primary responsibility for water resources engineering including stormwater management, Low Impact Development (LID) and design, and watershed planning.

Mr. Muckley brings with him more than twelve years experience in civil/water resources engineering and golf design, eight of those years as a professional engineer. Prior to working at WEG, Mr. Muckley served as a Senior Design Associate at George Golf Design, Inc. where he utilized his civil engineering experience to integrate large-scale drainage, irrigation, and floodplain solutions artistically in the golf environment; overseeing projects in eight states along the East Coast and projects overseas.

Mr. Muckley received a B.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering from University of Illinois Urbanna-Champaign. With his diverse practical background in both engineering and golf course design, he is uniquely positioned to understand the challenges facing golf course owners and superintendents. As an experienced environmental engineer, Mr. Muckley will be able to discover environmental opportunities to refine the business operations of courses and to provide effective, environmentally-sound solutions for all of WEG’s clientele.
