Operation Front Door Event in Vegas to Benefit Wounded Troops - Donate to the Cause

An open letter from Eric Dutt, Director of Golf - Rio Secco GC & Cascata GC, Las Vegas

I'm reaching out to my golf circle with a very special request on behalf of myself and Butch Harmon. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated in the way of a donated foursome, golf packages, equipment, etc to raise money for this great cause.

For the last two years Butch and I have brought to Las Vegas six combat severely wounded veterans from Afghanistan and Iraq through the Troops First Foundation for two days of VIP treatment in Las Vegas, rooms at Caesars, a two day golf school at Butch's school, golf at Rio Secco and transportation to and from Las Vegas via private jet from Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. We've decided to raise the bar a little bit as one of the biggest challenges facing these veterans is the ability to own a home but these guys are very proud and don't want anything given to them.

On November 11th, 2011 (Veterans Day) we will be holding the Operation Front Door Charity Golf event at Rio Secco hosted by Butch Harmon, David Feherty and John Manni from JM Adjustment, the title sponsor. Operation Front Door is a grant initiative that assists combat wounded and disability-rated veterans, in order that they may secure and sustain homes of their own. More information on this program can be found at www.operationfrontdoor.org The event is taking place to raise money for this initiative as part of the Troops First Foundation, www.troopsfirstfoundation.org Funds raised from the event will be used to help these veterans purchase homes of their own.

Here's how you can help. Presenting sponsorships are still available at $25,000, teams are available in the event for $10,000 per team, which includes four playing spots, tee gift package rooms at the Paris Hotel, cocktail party and the chance to meet some of our wounded warriors who will benefit from this event. Also, we are conducting an online auction in conjunction with the event. Help us secure golf packages, golf equipment, rounds of golf, dinners, anything of value that can be put on the auction site to help this worthwhile cause.
